Job summary

Hexcel in Casa Grande, AZ is hiring a Web Conversion Print Operator to operate the #7 Printline and the 335 Printline in the graveyard shift. Start at $29.55/hour during a 90-day orientation period with gradual increases to $32.21/hour, plus a $1.75/hour shift premium.

You will handle treated aluminum foil and prepare materials for Nomex, Korex, and glass prepregs. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in manufacturing, plus basic data entry and math skills.

Qualifications

• Basic data entry and ability to read safety/maintenance documents.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the #7 Printline and the 335 Printline.
• Processes treated aluminum foil.
• Prints, sheets, and applies adhesive to Nomex, Korex, and glass pre‑preg.
• Obtains raw materials pertinent to #7 Printline or 335 Printline operation from respective areas.
• Monitors print line operation to assure adhesive is applied in a consistent manner.
• Records SPC data during process.

Hexcel is currently seeking a Web Conversion Print Operator for our Casa Grande, AZ location. Start rate: $29.55 per hour during the New Hire Orientation Period – normally 90 calendar days, then increases to $32.21 per hour. This position is on Grave shift (11:00PM to 7:00AM, Monday–Friday + O/T as required) and pays a $1.75 per hour shift premium. Note that the workday on Grave shift is designated by the day the shift ends.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates the #7 Printline and the 335 Printline.
• Processes treated aluminum foil.
• Prints, sheets, and applies adhesive to Nomex, Korex, and glass pre‑preg.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience required, preferably in manufacturing. Previous Hexcel experience preferred.
• Must be proficient in use of tape measure and ruler.
• Basic working knowledge of computer data entry function required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Must be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
