$40.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Web Content Writer

Location: Remote!

Duration: 3 months at 20hrs pw then bumping up to 40hrs pw

Hours per week: Flexible

Rate Range: $45-$50 per hour

Timeline for hire: Within the next ~2 weeks

Our client is a healthcare provider. They are seeking a remote, 20 hour per week Web Content Writer. If all goes well this engagement will extend past the 3 months and could increase to 40 hours per week.

The Web Content Writer will own the healthcare providers bio website. This is the first and most important touchpoint for a new patient. This is where they gather their first impression of their new healthcare provider. Not only does the writing need to be a focus for this person, but our client is looking for someone who can help make their internal process more efficient in auditing what write ups need to be updated, identifying what info is outdated, and implementing how to best update all information to remedy the bios.

The Three Main Areas We'll Want To Consider Are

• Strong writing, ideally with experience in the healthcare space
• Ability and experience uploading content to their CMS (they use Drupal so that or something similar is great)
• Implementing a new process to smooth out ways to reach out/collect info from providers so you can get to the writing!
  
  

Responsibilities Include

• Refining and document the info gathering and containment process (Make more smooth creating higher quality content)
• Writing physician bios in a consistent brand voice using SEO best practices
• Updating old bios for new information and consistent brand voice
• Gathering info, studies, papers, talks, and presentations of the providers
• Manage local listing using YEXT
• Uploading bios onto the website
• Relationship building
  
  

Software & Skills

• Strong knowledge of SEO writing
• Have written content for bios and or departments
• 6+ years of experience with healthcare or pharma
• Strong knowledge of content management (Drupal is a plus)
• Open to cold calling providers to gather new or updated information
• Familiarity with YEXT for for local search listing
• Extremely organized and process driven
• Any light coding with HTML/CSS is a plus
