Job summary

Augsburg University seeks a Website Content Specialist to plan, create, publish, and maintain content across Augsburg University and Luther Seminary web properties. The role ensures accurate, accessible, and user-centered web content, supporting institutional goals, brand standards, and an inclusive digital experience.

You will collaborate with campus partners to translate department information into clear, structured content, manage CMS workflows, monitor performance using GA4 and other tools,

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Web Development, CS, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience in website content management, digital communications, web development, marketing, or related area.
• Experience working with CMS and editing/publishing web content.
• Experience using Google Analytics or other web analytics platforms.
• Working knowledge of web accessibility standards and digital accessibility principles.
• Basic working knowledge of HTML and CSS.

Responsibilities

• Update, revise, format, and publish web content within the CMS.
• Apply basic SEO/AEO practices, including headings, meta descriptions, keywords, and links.
• Review content based on performance data and partner requests.
• Maintain consistent formatting, messaging, and visual presentation with brand standards.
