University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Web Applications Developer for the CHAI Core. This role develops and maintains web solutions to support research projects and academic programs, writing code to specification within Laravel, SQL, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

The position is part-time (20 hours per week), with a 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM schedule, located in North Carolina, US. Prior education in CS/CI/CE or related fields and relevant development experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, math, or Engineering or related technical degree; or
• Bachelor’s degree with some computer coursework and one year of experience; or
• Associate’s degree in Computer Programming with one year of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Write code to specification using Laravel, SQL, JSON, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Manage version control and document all work.
