Job summary

New Directions Technologies, Inc is seeking a Web Application Test Engineer to support the WSSIS V Contract at the F / A-18 & EA-18G IPT. The role focuses on quality, reliability, and security of business web applications through white-box, grey-box, black-box, unit, and automated testing.

Responsibilities include developing automated tests (Playwright), translating scenarios into scripts, and supporting TDD practices within an Agile DevOps context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• At least 1 year of software testing/QA experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Experience with Playwright, Tosca, LIFT or Selenium.
• Experience with TDD and automated web testing.
• Knowledge of black/grey/white box testing methods and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Apply modern testing methodologies across web applications.
• Support TDD adoption in collaboration with development teams.
• Develop, execute, maintain automated web tests, prioritizing Playwright.
• Translate manual tests into automated coverage and end-to-end scripts.
• Analyze code, databases, and application logic to support testing.
• Set up and maintain automated testing environments.
• Support training on test automation and DevOps practices.
• Document test cases, results, defects, and quality artifacts.
