Job summary

Central Hudson is seeking a Web Application Developer to strengthen our technology group responsible for business applications and customer-facing platforms. You will work on web and mobile solutions, supporting the SDLC and delivering modern, scalable applications.

Required skills include C#, ASP.NET MVC, REST API, HTML/CSS/JS, with strong communication. You may collaborate across teams, participate in DevOps practices, and assist with storm restoration support when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or STEM related field.
• Experience in web application development.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, REST API, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience in design, development, and testing of applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work off-hours and weekends for 24/7 callout support.

Responsibilities

• Full support of the Software Development Life Cycle, including analysis, design, configuration, development, documentation, testing of the customer web self-service portal and mobile application.
• Collaborating with internal and external teams to develop and deploy modern customer and internal business facing applications.
• Implementing design and architecture best practices.
• Participating in industry forums to advance practices and adoption.
• Continuously seeking to optimize processes to add value.
• Provide support for storm restoration efforts.
