Job summary

Hoplite Solutions LLC seeks a Web Application Support Specialist to join a mission-focused development team. The role involves supporting multiple client applications, troubleshooting complex issues, and using Python to automate tasks.

Agile methodology is used, and the position offers opportunities in cyber operations within a collaborative team environment. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of software design experience, strong Python skills, and hands-on experience with REST API services,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in software design and development.
3 years of experience developing applications in Python.
Experience designing, implementing or supporting REST API services.
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
Experience upgrading and maintaining production applications, including legacy code.
Experience developing and deploying Docker containers.

Responsibilities

Participate in daily scrum meetings.
Troubleshoot complex problems and assist customers with application and system issues.
Use programming skills to automate and bring efficiency to client applications.
Work independently and collaborate with a development team, supporting existing production systems and adapting to new technologies.
