Job summary

Polytex Fibers Corp. is seeking a weaver operator to set up, operate and maintain weaving machinery on the Houston floor. You will monitor production, perform quality checks and maintain detailed records while adhering to safety and GMP standards.

This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you have experience in manufacturing, familiarity with yarns and weaving patterns, and knowledge of LOTO/HACCP procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic math and measurement accuracy required.
• Able to read and write and follow written work instructions.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and PPE usage is essential.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and LOTO procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain weaving machinery to ensure high quality production.
• Check yarns and materials for breaks, twisting, matting, wrapping or low yarns.
• Conduct quality checks and document production output.
• Resolve basic machine malfunctions and report major issues to supervisor.
• Maintain detailed records of machine settings and repairs.
• Follow work instructions and safety/quality SOPs.
• Work on the manufacturing floor with PPE and in a fast-paced environment.
