Job summary

TEXTUM OPCO LLC is seeking a production associate to operate machinery and ensure safe, efficient production aligned with company goals. You will follow verbal and written instructions, perform equipment setups, and inspect finished products as part of a quality-driven team.

The role requires good basic reading, writing, and numeracy, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the stamina to remain on one's feet through shifts. Safety PPE is required and clean, organized workspaces are maintained.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English, short correspondence, and memos; write simple notes.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods; basic vision requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment to produce products following safety and quality guidelines.
  • Complete equipment set ups according to machine and style specifications.
  • Inspect products on cycle and document findings as needed.

Summary: Operates machinery in a safe and efficient manner by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

Operates production equipment to produce products in accordance with safety, quality, & projected company goals as related to company expectations.

Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions.

Completes equipment set ups in accordance with machine & style specifications.

Inspects product on cycle and documents findings as needed.

Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.

Adheres to all established policies and procedures of safety, quality and production.

Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.

Requirements
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and charts.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
