GreenSavers in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Level 1 WX Installer to join our field crew. This full-time position pays $23.75/hour base, with hands-on training and guidance from experienced teammates to install insulation and seal air leaks.

You will gain confidence on the job while making homes more comfortable and energy efficient. The role focuses on attic, floor, and wall insulation, air-sealing, duct-sealing, and following work orders.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated weatherization trainee skills or comparable insulation, construction, or residential retrofit experience.
• Safe use of common tools and ladders, and the ability to followwritten scopes and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance, accurate timekeeping, respect forcustomers’ homes, and a willingness to ask questions and learn.
• A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Air-sealing, insulation, or duct-sealingexperience; basic building-science knowledge; and Spanish/Englishbilingual skills are helpful.

Thework environment

This is hands-on field work in occupiedhomes, including attics, crawl spaces, basements, roofs, and otherconfined or difficult-to-access areas. The work involves frequentlifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 75 pounds; standing,bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders; andexposure to heat, cold, dust, and weather. You must be able toperform the essential duties with or without reasonableaccommodation and follow required safety and PPE practices.
