GreenSavers is hiring a WX Field Installer Level 1 in Portland, OR. This full-time on-site role involves installing attic, floor, and wall insulation, sealing air leaks, and assisting with duct sealing under experienced guidance.

You will use hand and power tools, follow safety practices, and keep materials organized while completing photos, time records, and job notes. Growth toward Level 2 depends on demonstrated skills and reliability.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated weatherization trainee skills or comparable insulation, construction, or residential retrofit experience.
• Safe use of common tools and ladders, and the ability to follow written scopes and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance, accurate timekeeping, respect for customers’ homes, and a willingness to ask questions and learn.
• A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Requirements

Air-sealing, insulation, or duct-sealingexperience; basic building-science knowledge; and Spanish/Englishbilingual skills are helpful.

Thework environment

This is hands-on field work in occupiedhomes, including attics, crawl spaces, basements, roofs, and otherconfined or difficult-to-access areas. The work involves frequentlifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 75 pounds; standing,bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders; andexposure to heat, cold, dust, and weather. You must be able toperform the essential duties with or without reasonableaccommodation and follow required safety and PPE practices.
