Job summary

Fox Weather, LLC is seeking a creative Producer, Social Strategy & Creative Content to join our Content Core team. You will help power our rapidly expanding presence across digital and social platforms by turning real‑time weather news into visual, shareable content.

You will combine strong news judgment, video production and editing skills, platform expertise, and creativity to produce content that informs and engages audiences, with opportunities to impact national coverage.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of relevant experience in a high‑volume digital newsroom or creator environment.
Experience producing multimedia content for digital platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
Proficiency with video editing suites including Premiere Pro, CapCut, Photoshop or similar software.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute social and visual content strategies across YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, X, and emerging platforms.
Conceptualize, produce, edit, and publish short‑form video, vertical video, visuals, and platform‑native content.
Track and package viral UGC to showcase real‑time weather stories with speed.
Translate complex weather data into clear, engaging content.
Write and produce digital stories for foxweather.com that complement social initiatives.
Monitor breaking weather news and pitch creative content for social platforms and live streams.
Track platform analytics to optimize performance and adapt to algorithms.
Collaborate with meteorologists, reporters, producers, editors, and FOX Weather team.
