Responsibilities

• Launch high-altitude balloons following established safety procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot engineering prototype balloon units in the field.
• Collaborate with engineers during evening launches.
• Build launch rigs and hardware; hands-on assembly.
• Set up and break down launch sites and secure equipment.
• Manage inventory of balloon supplies and related gear.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and flag safety concerns.
• Coordinate with property owners, local officials, and airport authorities.
• Adapt to varying conditions and ambiguity.
