Qualifications

• Experience designing mechanical systems for wearable devices or flexible electronics.
• Expertise with soft materials, polymers, composites, and stretchable electronics.
• Hands-on prototyping and fabrication techniques (soft lithography, roll-to-roll).
• Familiarity with simulation tools such as ANSYS, COMSOL, or equivalent.
• Strong ability to prototype, iterate, and solve problems quickly in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Design robotic hand components that incorporate flexible electronics and soft mechanics.
• Integrate stretchable substrates and embedded circuits into high-performance systems.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with EE and AI teams to build integrated robotic platforms.
• Lead materials selection, testing, and failure analysis for wearables and soft systems.
• Prototype rapidly and iterate toward manufacturable, scalable designs.
• Mentorship and collaboration with world‑class robotics engineers.
