Job summary

LifeLens Technologies, Inc. in Ivyland, PA, seeks a Product Development Engineer to advance electro-chemical medical devices for wearable health monitoring. The role focuses on design concepts, prototyping, and verification across all development stages.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and regulatory readiness, applying DOE and design controls while communicating clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of medical device product development experience using Design Controls and stage-gate development for class II or III devices.
• Experience with electro-mechanical devices; software/firmware experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate product concepts and prototypes to meet customer needs.
• Develop design prototypes and run performance evaluations to inform design choice and freeze.
• Support risk management activities (hazard analysis, dFMEA, pFMEA).
• Collaborate with Mfg., QA, RA to optimize designs and manufacturability.
• Define and document design output with specifications and drawings.
