Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc in Columbus, GA is seeking an ASSURE Patient Specialist (APS) to support the sales team by conducting patient fittings for wearable defibrillators. This is a paid per fitting position with training and certification provided.

You will travel to hospitals and patients' homes, train, measure garments, manage kit inventory, and coordinate with prescribers and caregivers while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background (e.g., nurses, cardiac device sales representatives, clinicians).
• Background check completed; Florida and Ohio require level 2 screening at Kestra's expense.
• Willingness to pay an annual DME fee during the assignment period.
• Ability to travel to hospitals and patient homes for fittings.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Act as a contractor ASSURE Patient Specialist to fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator.
• Provide instruction and instill confidence in Assure patients.
• Contact prescribers, caregivers and patients to schedule services.
• Travel to healthcare facilities to provide fitting services.
• Measure patients to determine correct garment size and manage kit inventory.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies.
