Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. is seeking an ASSURE Patient Specialist to perform patient fittings for a wearable defibrillator in the Cincinnati South area. This is a per fitting, 1099 contractor role supporting the sales organization and Regional Clinical Advisors.

You will travel to hospitals and patients' homes, train patients, and ensure proper garment sizing and documentation while maintaining strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• 1 year of paid patient care experience.
• Clinical or engineering background as listed.
• Disclosure of personal NPI number (if applicable).
• Completion of background check (level 2 where applicable).
• Willingness to pay an annual DME fee.
• Ability to pay for vendor credentialing upfront during a 90-day probation.
• Experience in patient and/or clinician education.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the defined region.
• Credentialing for hospital system entry; vaccination status.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator.
• Provide instruction and build confidence in Assure patients.
• Coordinate with prescribers, caregivers and patients to schedule services.
• Travel to hospitals and patient homes for fittings.
• Manage inventory of kits and garments.
• Maintain confidentiality per Pledge.
