Job summary

Janus Global is seeking a qualified Protective Security Specialist to conduct training for U.S. contractors on weapons systems and other related duties. You will be responsible for scheduling and conducting required training while also supporting protection teams as needed.

The ideal candidate must be a U.S. citizen with substantial experience in firearms instruction and protective security. The position requires physical readiness and the ability to handle mission-essential equipment under various conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Minimum of 2 years as an instructor in a security field.
• Minimum of 1 year as a FTE firearms instructor.
• 5 years in protective security assignments with supervisory experience.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Valid U.S. Passport with no less than 6 months before expiration.
• Must pass the pre-employment Physical Readiness Test (PRT).

Responsibilities

• Conduct training for WPS III personnel.
• Coordinate refresher training and firearms re-qualifications.
• Support protection teams as needed.
