Job summary

Janus Global is seeking a Protective Security Specialist responsible for training U.S. contractors on weapons systems and conducting ongoing training. This role includes coordinating refresher training and firearms re-qualifications for personnel on Department of State operations.

Applicants must possess relevant experience, including years in supervision within protective security. A valid U.S. Driver's License and Passport are required, and individuals must be able to meet specific physical readiness criteria.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a security instructor.
• Minimum 1 year as a firearms instructor.
• 5 years in protective security assignments, with 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Valid U.S. Passport with over 6 months validity.
• Pass pre-employment Physical Readiness Test (PRT).

Responsibilities

• Conduct training for WPS III personnel.
• Coordinate refresher training and firearms re-qualifications.
• Support protection teams as needed.
