The Weapons Maintenance Technician at Fort Bragg, NC will perform field and sustainment maintenance on a wide range of weapons, inspect and repair components, and ensure safety certifications.

The role requires SECRET clearance, U.S. citizenship, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and proficiency with GCSS-Army and Microsoft Office; candidates must meet security and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair complex weapon systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic computer skills required.
• Familiarity with field and sustainment maintenance environments.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair U.S., foreign, non-standard, and legacy weapons at field and sustainment levels.
• Perform inspections and repairs; replace components and assemblies as needed.
• Interpret technical manuals to repair weapons to mission-capable standard.
• Ensure compliance with security requirements for weapons and ammunition.
• Maintain item inventories and report discrepancies and damage.
• Operate the Maintenance Module in GCSS-Army and track labor.
• Review safety issues and Quality Deficiency Reports.
