Job summary

Trax International in Yuma Proving Ground, AZ is seeking a Weapons & Communications System Operator I for full-time work on military weapons systems, including small arms up to turret-mounted vehicles. Duties include PMCS, pre-fire checks, turret operation, data collection, and safety compliance under the test plan. Eligibility requires U.S.

citizenship, security clearance ability, and experience with SINCGARS, Harris radios, and FBCB2. Internal applicants only.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Military experience required.
• Operational experience with SINCGARS, Harris Radios, BFT, JCR and FBCB2.
• Experience with crew-served and small arms weapon systems.
• Experience following military manuals and test plans.

Responsibilities

• Operate and test turret-mounted and small arms weapons systems.
• Conduct PMCS and pre-fire checks; adjust, troubleshoot, and fire weapons.
• Ride on test vehicles to collect data and report findings.
• Perform software testing for military vehicle subsystems per plan.
