Job summary

Plante Moran seeks an experienced tax professional to lead complex planning and compliance for high-net-worth clients, partnerships, and family offices.

You will coordinate with advisory teams, review federal and state returns, and drive strategic tax outcomes. The role includes estate planning involvement and staff mentoring, with regional travel and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in public accounting or equivalent experience.
• Experience with high net worth individuals, S-corporations, C-corporations, partnerships, LLCs, trusts, and foundations.
• Fiduciary and estate tax planning and compliance knowledge.
• Willingness to travel regionally for engagements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize tax planning processes with clients and advisory teams.
• Review and prepare federal, foreign, state, and local tax returns and related payments for high-net-worth clients.
• Involvement in estate planning and wealth transfer projects.
• Determine objectives, scope, and methodology with client management.
