Job summary

Anchorage Digital is seeking an experienced backend engineer to join the Wealth & Assets Management team in San Francisco. You will plan, build, release and maintain high-quality wealth systems, driving the architecture and technical direction of the team.

You will develop APIs and automation for client services across custody, trading, and core infrastructure, while mentoring others and collaborating with Wealth and other Anchorage Digital teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience building backend services.
• Real world experience building complex distributed systems. We mostly use Go, however languages can be learned.
• Led large scale, complicated projects on an architectural level.
• Enjoy building resilient services that can handle different volumes of work without manual intervention.
• Prioritize end-user experience and business value over “cool tech”.
• Care about code quality and test infrastructure.
• Have CS fundamentals: concurrency, algorithms, data structures.

Responsibilities

• Plan, build, release and maintain Wealth systems.
• Lead the system architecture and technical direction of the team.
• Develop APIs and automation for client services across wealth custody and trading.
• Mentor and guide team members within their specialization and domain.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the Wealth team and other Anchorage Digital teams.
