Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Private Client Banker in Branch Banking to serve a select group of affluent clients and manage their complete banking relationships. You will actively solicit referrals, coordinate with specialists, and provide access to self-service options for clients 24 hours a day.

The role requires a relationship-driven approach, strong communication, and compliance with banking regulations. Weekend/evening hours are expected as part of branch operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services.
• Beginning Oct. 1, 2018, if not currently registered, the Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (63/66 if required) and Life licenses are required or must be completed within 180 days of starting.
• Compliance with Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
• Excellent communication skills
• College degree or military equivalent
• Experience cultivating relationships with affluent clients
• Strong team orientation with long-term career intent

Responsibilities

• Shares the value of Chase Private Client with clients that may be eligible
• Actively manages their banking relationship through an advice-based approach, ensuring each client receives the best products and services for their needs
• Partners with Specialists (Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers and Business Relationship Managers) to connect customers to experts for specialized financial needs
• Makes lives of clients more convenient by sharing and setting up self-service options to access accounts 24/7
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements
