Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Private Client Banker in a Chase Branch to represent the brand with hospitality, deliver banking solutions, and manage complete client relationships for affluent clients and regular branch clients.

The role involves acquiring new clients through referrals, growing balances, and guiding clients to technology solutions while adhering to risk and regulatory requirements. Flexible hours including weekends are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in Financial Services sales with proven success in acquiring new clients, deepening relationships, and revenue generation.
• SIE exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses though JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits of products and services to clients with differing needs.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage assigned clients and their banking relationships through an advice-based approach to recommend the best products and services for their financial needs.
• Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust – ask questions and listen to understand, anticipate their needs.
• Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to help them with their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want.
• Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients about banking solutions, as well as collaborate with and connect them to our team of experts to help with specialized financial needs.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
