Job summary

State Street Corporation is seeking a Lead Designer for Wealth R&D to shape end-to-end design strategy for a consumer-facing, AI-native wealth platform. You will influence onboarding, insights, and navigation, guiding design principles with internal and external partners.

You will lead the front-end user experience, collaborate across product, engineering, and business teams, and own the design system to ensure scalable, accessible experiences.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally in fintech or enterprise platforms.
• Proven track record designing consumer-facing applications with high adoption and engagement.
• Strong portfolio showing complex UX systems, interaction design depth, and polished visuals.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Principle).
• Experience with user research, journey mapping, and usability testing.
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced features and multi-persona enterprise workflows is a plus.

Your primary focus will be defining how users engage with our solution across onboarding, personalized insights, product navigation, and AI‑driven experiences, and you will have a founding role in establishing our design principles and strategy.
