Job summary

Corient in Newport Beach, CA, is seeking a motivated student for a summer internship oriented toward client-ready financial planning materials. The role runs June through August 2027, 40 hours per week, in-office location with on-site collaboration.

Responsibilities include preparing presentations, analyzing financial topics, and supporting documents management. You will gain exposure to wealth planning and client service while developing professional skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree and expected to be a rising junior or senior in summer 2027.
• Demonstrates exceptional client service attitude.
• Team player who can mentor and inspire others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for client presentations (financial independence, education projections, net worth statements, cash flow reports, budgets, insurance, estate planning).
• Review and summarize financial information across risk management, retirement planning, taxes, estate plans, gifting and education.
• Assist in preparing customized planning templates for client meetings.
• Research financial planning topics as needed.
• Manage client and firm documents in the document management system.
• Contribute to firm projects and departmental initiatives.
• Represent Corient positively to clients and outside professionals.
