Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Vice President Product Owner for the Wealth Plan Planning Engine to guide AI-enabled planning work and lead cross-functional delivery. You will own requirements, validate engine outputs, and shape how advisory experiences are improved through data-driven insights.

You will collaborate with Product and Technology partners, document algorithms, and build prototypes to accelerate evolution of planning features for clients and advisors.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience with a degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML technologies from a product perspective, including generative AI, LLMs, and agentic AI patterns.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of Planning Engine algorithm and logic to support current and future roadmap.
• Validate, issue-spot, and debug Planning Engine outputs and results.
• Collaborate with Product and Technology on pending enhancements and ensure accurate implementation.
• Enhance documentation of algorithms and processes to institutionalize knowledge.
• Build expertise across retirement, education funding, debt, insurance, tax, and estate planning.
• Design and build Excel-based wireframe analytics as proof-of-concept for Planning Engine features.
• Generate approaches to goals-based advice aligning client and advisor experiences.
• Define product requirements for AI-enabled planning workflows including multi-step task design and human-in-loop checkpoints.
• Use AI tools to synthesize qualitative research into structured themes and prioritization inputs.
• Prototype planning concepts and user flows to validate ideas before engineering.
