Job summary

D.A. Davidson Companies seeks a detail-oriented Planning Coordinator to manage planning workflows and support Senior Planners, Financial Advisors, and Wealth Managers serving high-net-worth clients. This role coordinates planning engagements and communications with clients’ tax and legal advisors.

The successful candidate will manage intake, timelines, and cross-team handoffs, ensuring adherence to Wealth Planning Group standards while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services preferred.
• Licenses or ability to obtain Series 7 and 66 within 180 days of joining.
• FPQP certification or ability to obtain within one year of joining.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning intake, priorities, and scheduling across all client segments.
• Track deliverables, timelines, and dependencies to keep cases moving.
• Coordinate handoffs among Advisors, Paraplanners, Senior Planners, Directors, and Trust partners.
• Ensure cases follow Wealth Planning Group workflows and stages.
• Serve as the primary contact for planning logistics and coordination—not advice.
• Oversee data and document collection to ensure complete inputs.
• Maintain planning tools, templates, and communication standards.
• Support leadership with capacity tracking and workflow reporting.
• Coordinate planning events and initiatives, including webinars and the Wealth Planning Summit.
• Ensure processes meet regulatory, fiduciary, and operational requirements for engagements.
• Other duties as assigned.
