This position will play a vital role in supporting Wealth Advisors (WAs) by providing administrative, financial, technical, and organizational services.

This position will report to the Wealth Advisor.

Responsibilities
  1. Increasing level of financial planning and investment knowledge through practice and advancing responsibility of planning teams and Wealth Advisors
  2. Completes financial plans, investment reports, tax and estate analysis as requested
  3. Vast majority of time is spent preparing for and in client meetings documenting task items and coordinating client service execution under the Associate Wealth Advisors and/or Wealth Advisor
  4. Data and information gathering
  5. Brings forth observations to Lead Advisors regarding clients
  6. Limited oversight on simple projects and plans
  7. Observing and learning complex planning
  8. Attends networking events and begins to build relationships in the community and with COI peers
Qualifications & Requirements
  1. Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  3. Strong integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  4. Excellent team player with strong communication skills
  5. Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
  6. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion.
  7. Financial planning and investment principles, including processes and procedures
  8. Proficiency with back-office process and custodians
Physical Requirements
  1. This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Corient seeks to make reasonable accommodations that enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties when possible.
  2. This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  3. This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.
U.S. Eligibility Requirements
  1. Must be 18 years of age or older.
  2. Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
  3. Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. For U.S. employment opportunities, Corient hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Corient will require proof of work authorization.
  4. Corient participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
  5. Must be willing to execute Corient’s Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, which require, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality, and non-disclosure.
