Job summary

Wealthspire Advisors LLC in Chicago is seeking a Summer Intern for a 10-week program across three core areas: Private Wealth/Family Office, M&A/Strategic Growth, and Financial Institutions. You will sit with senior professionals on real-time projects and gain broad exposure to advisory, research, and firm-level initiatives.

The role targets rising juniors/seniors in Finance, Economics or Accounting with strong communication and analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student in Finance, Economics or Accounting is preferred.
• Interest in wealth management, investment consulting, or financial services.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a collegial environment.
• Professional communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, organization and time management.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of client meeting materials and portfolio summaries.
• Conduct investment and market research to support client discussions.
• Support financial planning analysis (cash flow, asset allocation, tax considerations, estate structures).
• Observe client meetings and internal strategy sessions.
• Assist with family office initiatives such as reporting, governance materials, or consolidated balance sheet analysis.
• Support research for private wealth/family office, M&A/strategic growth, and financial institutions research.
