Job summary

Wealthspire is offering a 10-week Summer Internship in Chicago to a rising junior or senior in Finance/Economics/Accounting. The Summer Analyst will rotate across three core areas—Private Wealth/Family Office, M&A/Strategic Growth, and Financial Institutions/Research—working with senior professionals on real-time projects.

The program provides exposure to client-facing wealth management, institutional research, and firm-level initiatives while developing foundational advisory skills.

Qualifications

• Rising junior or senior undergraduate student in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• Interest in wealth management, investment consulting, or financial services.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a collegial environment.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented time management abilities.
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare client meeting materials and portfolio summaries.
• Conduct investment and market research to support client discussions.
• Support financial planning analysis (cash flow, asset allocation, tax considerations).
• Observe client meetings and internal strategy sessions.
• Assist with family office reporting and consolidated balance sheet analysis.
• Support research on prospective acquisition targets and industry benchmarks.
• Prepare internal memos and presentation materials for leadership discussions.
• Conduct due diligence support and market analysis.
• Summarize manager research and support performance reporting.
• Prepare materials for RIAs and institutional client meetings.
• Track key industry trends in wealth management.
