About The Pelora Group

The Pelora Group (TPG) is a Charlotte, North Carolina-based wealth management firm and MassMutual office focused on helping financial advisors grow strong, sustainable practices supported by high-quality infrastructure and operational expertise. The firm is committed to building the internal capabilities that allow advisors to focus on client relationships, financial planning, and business development while being supported by a responsive and knowledgeable operations team.

The Opportunity

Our Wealth Management team supports a network of financial advisors, and we're looking for a highly organized professional to keep that support running smoothly. You'll be the central coordinator for advisor requests, due diligence activity, department communications, and the processes that hold it all together.

This is not a sales role, and no securities licenses are required. It's a behind-the-scenes position for someone who loves structure, follows through on every detail, and gets satisfaction from helping advisors succeed. You'll report to the Director of Wealth Management and work closely with our Sales and Wealth Management Operations teams.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor open requests and make sure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Prepare and maintain advisor-facing materials, including product guides, rate sheets, and reference documents
  • Generate Morningstar reports and supporting case documentation
  • Capture notes, takeaways, and follow-up items from advisor cases and meetings
Due Diligence and Education
  • Coordinate due diligence activities, including product meetings, manager calls, and research reviews
  • Maintain and organize the department's research library so materials stay current and easy to find
  • Coordinate monthly and quarterly educational events, plus pre-work and follow-up for monthly Study Groups
  • Distribute educational content and product resources to advisors
Team Coordination
  • Coordinate recurring department meetings, including agendas, prep materials, notes, and follow-up actions
  • Help communication flow between Wealth Management, Supervision, Investment Committees, and Study Groups
  • Share operational, regulatory, and compliance updates with advisors
  • Track department initiatives and accountability items through completion
Process, Reporting, and Technology
  • Manage department workflows, templates, checklists, and resource libraries
  • Track turnaround times, service levels, and other metrics to improve how the team works
  • Lead the department's use of our internal firm platform, tracking advisor engagement and documenting meetings
  • Partner with Wealth Management Operations on new business and case reporting
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience supporting financial advisors at a broker-dealer, wirehouse, RIA, or insurance-based advisory firm
  • Experience supporting multiple advisors or offices at once while staying organized and responsive
  • Familiarity with advisor operations such as onboarding, account maintenance, and client documentation
  • Hands‑on experience with CRM systems (Redtail, Wealthbox, Salesforce, or similar)
  • A proven system for managing competing priorities, such as tracking and triaging requests by urgency
  • Understanding of the regulated nature of financial services and comfort following compliance processes
  • Clear, professional communication with advisors and colleagues at every level
  • Comfort learning new technology platforms (Morningstar experience is a plus)
  • A warm, service‑first approach and the follow‑through to see every request to the finish line
  • Curiosity about financial products and a desire to grow within wealth management
  • Coachability and flexibility in a fast‑paced environment where priorities shift
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative, in‑office team setting
