Jobtailor seeks a senior risk leader to oversee innovative digital tools and investment products within the Personal Wealth Division, shaping risk practices across development and adoption.

You will partner with product teams, risk experts, and stakeholders to identify risks, design controls, and embed governance. With eight+ years of experience and strong communication, you will mentor talent and ensure regulatory standards are met.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of related work experience in risk, compliance, or internal audit.
• Strong leadership experience and ability to guide teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Deep understanding of investment products and wealth management technology.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and enable innovative digital tools and investment products across the Personal Wealth Division.
• Partner with leaders, product teams, risk experts, business stakeholders, technology stakeholders, second-line risk teams, and subject matter experts.
• Assess emerging products and technologies, identify and evaluate risks, and influence effective control design.
• Shape business processes and embed risk management practices throughout product development, implementation, and adoption.
• Hire, evaluate, and supervise crew; provide guidance and training to develop talent.
• Set performance standards, review performance, and make compensation decisions in line with HR policies.
• Partner with division leadership and risk partners on risk and control matters.
• Identify risks, develop processes, and embed risk mitigation into investment products and services.
• Provide advice on managing and controlling risk.
• Analyze risk events, identify root causes and themes, and propose remediation solutions.
• Develop industry, risk, control, regulatory, and policy knowledge; serve as a subject matter expert and trainer.
• Participate in special projects and perform other assigned duties.
• Provide oversight through governance practices and promote accountability across the division.
