Job summary

Moneta is a fiduciary, fee-only RIA firm in St. Louis, MO seeking a Wealth Management Intern to gain hands-on experience in wealth planning and client service. You will support data integrity, research, and analysis while working with seasoned professionals in a collaborative, team-based environment.

The internship provides exposure to financial planning concepts, investment strategies, and the RIA industry, with mentorship and networking opportunities across the firm. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Progress toward B.S. Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Availability to work onsite in the office.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in financial planning, wealth management, and client service.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects that ensure integrity of client data.
• Gain exposure to various types of financial planning software.
• Support client service activities through research, data gathering, analysis, meeting preparation, and other initiatives related to financial planning and wealth management services.
• Help coordinate meetings, events, and other business activities as needed.
• Contribute to department-specific initiatives and special projects.
• Receive mentorship from experienced wealth management professionals while participating in networking events, training programs, and career development opportunities across the firm.
• Develop an understanding of Moneta’s business model, services, and client experience philosophy.
• Learn foundational concepts related to financial planning, investment management, and the RIA industry.
• Complete assigned learning activities and professional development opportunities.
• Develop professional skills including communication, presentation, teamwork, and relationship management through hands-on projects and learning opportunities.

Moneta is a fiduciary fee-only Registered Investment Advisory firm and unable to hold securities licenses with the exception of Series 65. We also do not allow outside business activities, insurance commissions and/or trails.
