Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Purchase, New York (or NYC) seeks an Associate in Finance to join the Wealth Management CFO Support team. The role focuses on accounting, finance and process transformation for WM, with broad exposure to cross-functional projects.

You'll build detailed analyses, present insights to field managers, and help produce Fully-Loaded reporting for the WM branch network while upholding the firm’s values and governance standards.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in relevant field.
• Up to 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced numeric aptitude and quick grasp of new applications.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Dataiku, TM1, SAP BO, UiPath, Oracle Essbase and Tableau.
• Knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce, maintain and automate detailed analyses of WM and Firm metrics.
• Present to field managers and interpret data to provide strategic insights.
• Prepare Fully-Loaded reporting for the WM branch network.
• Act as a culture carrier and uphold Firm standards.
• Collaborate with Business Management, Product, Accounting, Bank, Strategy, Data and offshore teams.
• Develop enhanced analyses to drive transparency and performance.
• Respond to inquiries as primary field contact and route to SMEs.
• Deliver ad hoc analyses and recurring reporting as needed.
