Job summary

BNY is seeking a Client Service Associate to join our Wealth Management, Private Bank team in Boston. You will deliver exceptional client service through phone, email, and direct communication, managing end-to-end client requests from onboarding to servicing with accuracy and urgency.

You’ll support private bankers and clients through account openings, loan processing, and deposits, while maintaining strong relationships and ensuring compliance with AML/KYC standards and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience providing client service or operational support in a financial services or wealth management environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients, advisors, and internal colleagues.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, resolve requests quickly, and follow through with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of banking, deposits, lending, KYC/AML, and client servicing processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client service through phone, email, and direct communication.
• Own client service, cash movement, and operational requests end to end with same-day resolution whenever possible.
• Support private bankers and clients during account opening, loan processing, and deposit activity.
• Help maintain strong client relationships by proactively anticipating needs, escalating urgent issues, and coordinating with internal partners to complete work accurately and on time.
• Support risk management and control requirements by following Wealth Management policies, audit procedures, AML/KYC standards, and training requirements.
• Contribute to a strong team environment by sharing information, providing backup support, and assisting with cross‑regional needs when required.
