Job summary

Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is seeking a Registered Client Service Associate in Boston, MA to support Financial Advisors in sales, marketing and day-to-day operations of a growing wealth management practice.

The role requires superior interpersonal and multitasking skills and involves assisting in daily tasks to help the team grow their business, run smoothly and meet service excellence standards.

Qualifications

• FINRA registrations: Series 7 and 63/65 (or 66) within first three months of hire.
• 5+ years’ experience as a sales assistant/CSA in a corporate brokerage environment.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and quickly learn internal software.
• Must be a team player with an energetic, positive disposition seeking growth.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in daily work.
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, management and clients.

Responsibilities

• Learn and adapt to service the needs of various accounts to answer client/advisor questions.
• Develop knowledge of forms and account procedures to assist clients.
• Learn to use research and technical support tools.
• Produce quality analytical reports using various software programs.
• Promote Firm services by strengthening relationships with advisors.
• Interact with teammates, managers, and clients professionally and timely.
• Support marketing efforts and plan client events.
• Manage daily tasks, schedule appointments, and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate initiative to learn rules, regulations and concepts.
• Coordinate local office interactions with other staff and management.
