Job summary

Nuveen Wealth Management is seeking an experienced Wealth Management Advisor in Minneapolis to partner with affluent clients, deepen relationships, and grow practices through referrals.

The role requires 5+ years in wealth advisory, FINRA licenses, and a Life/Health license, with CFP/CFA preferred. A base salary of $100k–$110k plus incentives and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • University degree (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing a book of business or building long‑lasting relationships with affluent clients.
  • FINRA Series 7, Series 63, Series 65, or Series 66 registration.
  • Life and Health Insurance License in the resident state.
  • CFP or CFA Level I (preferred).
  • Tuition support for CFP or CFA certification with a base salary increase upon completion.
  • Physical ability to perform sedentary office work.

Wealth Management Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Wealth Management Advisor to partner with affluent clients, deepen relationships, and grow practices through referrals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with affluent clients to identify financial goals, analyze their financial landscape, and develop recommendations that help them achieve well‑defined objectives.
  • Communicate complex financial solutions with strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
  • Build meaningful, long‑lasting relationships and implement appropriate financial solutions.
  • Obtain all required licenses within 120 days of the start date.
Qualifications and Licenses
  • University degree (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing a book of business or building long‑lasting relationships with affluent clients.
  • FINRA Series 7, Series 63, Series 65, or Series 66 registration.
  • Life and Health Insurance License in the resident state.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) LevelI (preferred).
  • Will support tuition for CFP or CFA certification with a base salary increase upon completion.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary: $100,000/yr – $110,000/yr (may vary by experience, role, and location)
