Job description

The Wealth Growth Program Manager is a strategic professional responsible for managing multiple teams and executing recruiting tactics aligned with organizational objectives. This role focuses on facilitating Senior Wealth Advisor (SWA) candidates through all phases of the Wealth Group Executive (WGE) recruiting pipeline. The Program Manager provides dedicated coverage to all Regional Directors (RD) and Wealth Group Executives (WGE) across the Citigold/Citigold Private Client national footprint developing and coordinating tailored recruiting strategies for potential candidates.

Accountable for identifying defects in the various stages of the recruiting process, responsible for escalation to the appropriate stakeholders and resolution. Once the goal of candidate conversion is reached, the Director will ensure the promotion of all new hires throughout the existing pipeline and the broader Citi organization leveraging a variety of communication channels. Closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Recognized subject matter expert within recruiting area. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Is an acknowledged authority both within and outside area of expertise.

This role will report to the Head of National Sales Administration and Advisor Recruiting.

Responsibilities:
  • Supports planning, directing and coordination of day‑to‑day activities of running Advisor Recruiting Program and portfolio of related programs and it the primary point of contact for RDs and WGEs for Advisor hiring.
  • Provides strategic direction, dedicated coverage, and feedback with respect to initiative, alignment to business goals, stakeholder management, through monitoring and reporting of key recruiting metrics in executive communications.
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, organizations and business heads.
  • Collaborate with the External Recruit Agency Relationship Manager to achieve recruiting goals and maintain candidate quality.
  • Identify and resolve defects in the recruiting process.
  • Work with the Real Estate Laison Manager on cross functional areas and other programs, as appropriate to identify high priority hiring locations.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure program scope definition meets business objectives to refine recruiting process to enhance efficiency, improve conversion rates, and drive competitive hiring outcomes.
  • Collaborates with Program Sponsors to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business goals.
  • Analyze the recruiting funnel to identify constraints and implement solutions.
  • Coordinates and manages the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis to optimize the advisor hiring programs.
  • Manages the identification of risks which affect program delivery and ensure development and execution of mitigation strategies when necessary.
  • Interface with legal and compliance stakeholders to oversee due diligence, ensuring all regulatory and risk‑management compliance.
  • Matrix management of director‑level, senior program manager‑level and other staff, as appropriate.
  • Chair monthly recruiting forum, brining together key legal, compliance, and risk/control stakeholders to provide recruiting pipeline updates, market trends, and information on best practices.
  • Enhance the Advisor Recruiting Playbook for a structured and effective hiring process.
  • Provide coaching and development to RDs and WGEs on best practices for attracting and converting top advisor talent.
  • Conduct cyclical training sessions on market trends, competitor intelligence, and recruiting strategies.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
