Office Location: Abilene, Texas, United States

SCOPE/CONTACTS

Frequent customer contact, by telephone and e‑mail. Contacts include customers, prospects, officers and employees, representatives of oil and gas purchasers, operators and division order analysts, attorneys, accountants, and others.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Responsible for the receipt, processing, accurate completion and return of all division and transfer orders.
  • Responsible for maintaining records of all division orders.
  • Receive, process and pay all monthly Joint Interest Billing Statements (JIB).
  • Failure to perform duties accurately and timely could result in errors and possible loss of income to the account and the Trust Company.
  • Results of work are reviewed.
  • Physical effort required is average.
  • Must actively participate in Customer Service First sales and service culture, support the values of the organization and follow established company policies and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • A minimum two years’ clerical/administrative or equivalent college experience is required.
  • Three (3) years’ work experience with division orders, related documents or accounting/bookkeeping experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision, establish priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Must have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail and ability to work with decimals and fractions.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel and typing skills required.
  • Familiarity with division orders is preferred but not necessary.
