Job summary

  • 3–5 years of wealth-management experience, preferably in the ultra-high net worth market.
  • Bachelor’s degree in financial planning, finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • CFP® designation preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of tax, investments, and estate planning.
  • Excellent investment research skills.
  • Proficient project management and presentation skills.
  • Professional business acumen and effective communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of eMoney planning software.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills, capable of working independently and as part of a high-touch team.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor asset allocations and rebalance to align with policy statements and goals.
  • Review operations items such as wires, journals, account openings, and charitable requests.
  • Prepare and review investment portfolio recommendations for prospects and clients.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop comprehensive financial plans.
  • Conduct investment asset‑class research.
  • Compile, enter, and monitor CRM workflows related to client financial planning requests.
  • Support the Wealth Planning Team as needed.

Compensation

Position is exempt and paid according to the laws of the State of Illinois. Pay range: $75,000 – $100,000 USD per year.

Physical Requirements

Office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. Able to lift up to 15 pounds. Required to work onsite 4 days per week.

Eligibility

Must be 18 years of age or older and have unrestricted work authorization in the United States.
