This is a full-time direct hire role supporting a growing wealth advisory organization with a hybrid presence across Central and Northern California. This role is ideal for a licensed advisor and sales manager who enjoys building strong client relationships, mentoring future advisors, improving sales systems, and helping scale a firm toward ambitious long-term production goals. You will work closely with leadership in a collaborative, growth-focused environment where your ability to lead, educate, and execute will have a direct impact on client retention, advisor development, and business expansion. The organization offers a supportive leadership structure, strong growth vision, and the opportunity to help shape a multi-service financial planning platform that includes wealth management, insurance, Medicare planning, estate planning, and managed money solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and strengthen client relationships through annual reviews, financial planning updates, retirement projections, cash flow analysis, risk assessments, and portfolio alignment.
  • Serve as a fiduciary advisor by educating clients, supporting objective decision-making during market volatility, and promoting long-term financial planning strategies.
  • Standardize and optimize the sales process, including workflow documentation, CRM adoption, e-application integration, and lead-to-client conversion tracking.
  • Drive strategic growth toward the firm’s goal of reaching $100M in annual production by 2030 through KPI tracking, production analysis, and sales performance reporting.
  • Lead service diversification initiatives across Medicare planning, estate planning, managed money, insurance household reviews, and other client expansion opportunities.
  • Mentor advisor team members, support future advisor hires, clarify sales and administrative responsibilities, and align growth efforts with long-term succession planning.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range: $70,000 to $90,000 per year.
  • Quarterly commission opportunities tied to team growth milestones.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions.
  • Paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and observed holidays.
  • Full-time position.
  • Hybrid work arrangement with home office in Jackson, CA and remote office presence across California.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Lead client advisory relationships, portfolio reviews, financial planning updates, and retention-focused client communication.
  • Manage sales process standardization, CRM usage, lead conversion tracking, and operational workflow improvement.
  • Drive strategic production growth, KPI reporting, advisor coaching, and expansion of wealth management services.
  • Support compliance, documentation, disclosure updates, and fiduciary standards across client interactions.
  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • At least 3 years of experience in advisory leadership, sales management, or a related management role.
  • Series 65 license is mandatory.
  • Active Life and Health Insurance licenses are mandatory.
  • Proven experience managing a book of business while helping scale a department, team, or advisory practice.
  • Strong understanding of wealth advisory services, retirement planning, managed money, insurance, and client relationship management.
  • Ability to simplify complex financial concepts for clients, junior advisors, and internal team members.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
  • Commitment to fiduciary responsibility, ethical standards, accurate documentation, and SEC or state regulatory compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CFP or ChFC designation is highly preferred.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Retirement Analyzer is preferred.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Redtail CRM is preferred.
  • Experience with Simplicity Wealth or similar wealth management platforms is a plus.
