Job summary

Merrill Wealth Management is seeking a candidate for the Advisor Development Program as a Financial Advisor. You will work with high-net-worth individuals, identify needs, review goals, and deliver comprehensive recommendations aligned with client objectives. You will collaborate with Merrill Advisor Teams to grow portfolios.

The role emphasizes building trust, sourcing clients through prospecting, and managing a productive practice while maintaining compliance and ongoing education requirements.

Qualifications

• Hold Series 7 and 66 (63/65 in lieu of 66) licenses.
• Minimum of one year experience in financial services and/or a sales environment with goals met or exceeded.
• Minimum of one year experience in the investments industry with investment training and knowledge.
• Proven ability to engage with and influence others.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to quickly build trust.
• Proven ability to assess needs and recommend solutions.
• Proven ability to collaborate with a team and with partners.
• Strong follow-through and client-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound inquiries from leads regarding Merrill offering.
• Position Merrill and the company's extensive capabilities.
• Collect client profile data following KYC procedures to open accounts.
• Serve as interim Financial Advisor, recommending suitable investment products.
• Document all client interactions and opportunities in Salesforce.
