Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience in securities or related industry, 2+ years, client facing preferred.
  • Strong communication and follow-through in professional business documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining proactive client contact and providing on-going client service.
  • Engage and support clients through the data collection process.
  • Organize, analyze, research, review and prepare data for financial planning analysis.
  • Produce detailed client road maps, presentations and analyses for meetings with clients and prospects using multiple systems.
  • Research complex situations, set client expectations, and define actions to resolve inquiries promptly.
  • Assist advisors in preparing upcoming client meetings; attend meetings for note-taking and follow-up.
  • Assist with analysis, rebalancing, and administration of client investment portfolios.
  • Conduct investment research, reporting and analysis.
  • Onboard clients in accordance with firm procedures.
  • Respond to client communications within company guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities for existing client growth and nurture family relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job description

We are an established wealth management firm located in San Antonio with an extensive 20+ year history in the community. We offer investment management, financial planning, and ongoing financial advising services to a select group of retirees, families, business owners, and high net worth individuals. We help our clients to reach their financial and life goals, with an emphasis on providing excellent service. We consider our clients as part of our family.

We are currently seeking a Wealth Advisor to join our team in this capacity. A successful candidate will display a high degree of professionalism, have strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrate an ability to engage existing clients. This person will assume the responsibility of administrative support to the firm’s Relationship Managers and Senior Wealth Advisors with wealth management services in order to help clients pursue their stated goals. They will provide support to the advisory team, clients and overall firm by helping to manage client relationships and actively participating in the advanced planning process.

We compensate all Wealth Advisors with a base salary plus a bonus model that rewards individuals that can manage objectives and service goals. We also offer a majority of Employer paid Employee Health Insurance Plan and a Company Matched 401k Profit Sharing Plan.   • Research complex situations, set client expectations, and define the actions to resolve inquiries in a timely manner
  • Assist the advisors in the preparation of upcoming client meetings; attend meetings for notetaking and follow up
  • Assisting with analysis, rebalancing, and administration of client investment portfolios
  • Conducting investment research, reporting, and analysis
  • Onboarding of clients in accordance with firm procedures
  • Responding to all client communication within our company guidelines
  • Identifying opportunities for existing client growth and development, including nurturing family relationships
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience within securities or related industry experience required; preferably in client facing capacity (support roles included)
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance, financial planning, or a related field
  • SIE, Series 7 and 63/65/66 securities registrations
  • Additional designations are also a plus (FPQP, CFP)
  • Excellent follow-through and communication
  • Editing and writing skills to initiate, compose, format, proofread and carefully edit various professional business documents and correspondence
  • Strong time management skills; ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work assignments and deadlines efficiently despite frequent interruptions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate in a pleasant, tactful and effective manner (both orally and in writing), and to handle difficult, sensitive issues
  • Ability to analyze situations, define problems and/or objectives, identify relevant factors, formulate logical conclusions and suggest alternative solutions
  • Able to work independently with limited direct supervision
  • CRM Software experience required; Salesforce knowledge highly preferred
  • Industry-specific software/platform experience preferred; LPL, Schwab
  • General knowledge of Financial Planning Software
  • Advanced Technology Skills and use of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
