Job summary

Judson Group is seeking an experienced Wealth Advisor to join its Wealth Management team in a holistic role combining investment management, financial planning, tax strategy, and risk management. You will drive business development, collaborate with tax and advisory professionals, and mentor junior staff while delivering integrated client solutions.

You will work with high-net-worth clients, develop strategic relationships, and lead discussions across retirement, estate planning, and cash flow

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of financial planning experience within an RIA, wealth management, or similar advisory environment.
  • Series 65 required; candidates without the license may be considered with the expectation of obtaining it within 120 days of starting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, investment management, financial markets, retirement, estate planning, insurance, charitable giving, and cash flow strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate investment and financial planning strategies into comprehensive client solutions.
  • Proven success building trust and credibility with high-net-worth clients.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with strong judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to mentor, influence, and work effectively across teams.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency, along with familiarity with financial planning technology.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business and proactively build relationships with prospective clients, with a strong focus on internal referrals and strategic connections.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, gaining a deep understanding of their goals and delivering thoughtful, personalized strategies.
  • Advise across the full financial picture, including investment management, asset allocation, retirement and estate planning, insurance, risk management, charitable giving, and cash flow.
  • Lead client meetings and ensure strong follow-through, communication, and execution.
  • Build and activate referral relationships with internal partners, centers of influence, and other key market contacts.
  • Collaborate closely with Financial Planners, Client Service Associates, and other team members to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Review portfolios, rebalance accounts, execute tax-loss harvesting strategies, and place trades as needed.
  • Partner with internal tax professionals to provide coordinated, multidisciplinary advice.
  • Mentor team members and help strengthen team collaboration, client service, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Serve as a credible, engaging professional who can clearly communicate complex financial concepts and confidently present recommendations.
