The Child Neurology Society is recruiting Academic Pediatric Neurologists to join our team at CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. We are looking for dedicated clinicians with strong leadership and organizational skills to support the growth of our Pediatric Neurology Division.

Ideal candidates must hold a Medical degree and be Board Eligible or Certified in Pediatric Neurology. The role offers an opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment focusing on programs such as epilepsy and neurodevelopmental disabilities.

We are recruiting Academic Pediatric Neurologists

The Department of Pediatrics at CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital in San Antonio is seeking exceptional pediatric neurologists to join our collaborative and collegial team.

The ideal candidate will:

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork
• Possess excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Represent the Division at the community, regional, and national levels
• Have strong clinical general neurology skills

This role will support the continued growth of our Pediatric Neurology Division. We have assembled an outstanding multidisciplinary team and are seeking dedicated clinicians and emerging leaders to further strengthen our programs. Our institution offers a well-established multidisciplinary evaluation and treatment program for children with epilepsy, a comprehensive autism program, and an international neuromuscular program. While we are particularly interested in candidates with a passion for expanding programs such as headache or any general neurology focus. We welcome applications from all highly qualified candidates with diverse clinical interests and strong skill sets.

The Division consists of: Seven board-certified pediatric neurologists, including three with fellowship training in Epilepsy and three in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities, Four full-time Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) – two are dedicated to inpatient service support

The Division supports several active and growing clinical programs, including:

• Epilepsy Program, featuring a six-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
• Epilepsy Surgery Program & Multidisciplinary Clinic
• Neurodevelopmental Program (including Autism and Down Syndrome multidisciplinary clinics)

Qualified applicants must:

• Have a Medical degree (MD, DO, etc.)
• Be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Neurology
• Have or be eligible to obtain a Texas Medical License
