Qualifications

  • Prior restaurant experience is desired but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • OpenTable experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Interact with all guests and co-workers professionally, hospitably, and friendly.
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work, wearing the proper uniform including dress, makeup, hair, and jewelry.
  • Accept and book reservations properly; offer alternatives if the desired time isn't available.
  • Calculate, note, and quote accurate wait times; suggest bar drinks and appetizers during extended waits.
  • Keep floors, entryways, and aisles clean and debris-free.
  • Assist in bussing tables during waits or immediate needs.
  • Provide guests with directions and right of way.
  • Thank departing guests and welcome new ones.
  • Be knowledgeable about restaurant information to answer questions and address concerns.
  • Answer phone calls, fulfill guest needs, and communicate important information to managers.
