Job summary

Walser Automotive Group, a long‑standing family‑owned dealer group in Minnesota, is seeking an entry/mid-level automotive service technician to perform essential maintenance and PDIs. You’ll handle oil changes, tire care, bulb and belt checks, lubrication, and inspections in a safety‑driven, climate‑controlled shop environment.

We value reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work with a partner. Prior oil change experience is preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Punctual and reliable; able to work with a partner.
• Experience with oil changes is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and filter.
• Tire inspection and repairs.
• Bulbs replacement and lighting checks.
• Lubrication of chassis, body, front end, and drivetrain.
• Belt inspection and replacement.
• Hose inspection and visual checks.
• Brake inspection, adjustment and cleaning.
• Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs).
• Other light maintenance tasks as assigned.

Compensation

$19.30/hour + incentives!

What You’ll Do:

• Completes the following maintenance:
• Change oil and filter
• Tire inspection and repairs
• Bulbs
• Lubrication of the chassis, body, front end, and drive train
• Belt inspection and replacement
• Hose inspection, and the visual inspection of other parts on the vehicle
• Brake inspection, adjustment, and cleaning
• Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)
• Other light maintenance
• Utilization of Truvideo/Estimate Tool
• Must wear safety eyewear at all times when in dealership service departments
• Must wear hard-toed shoes and slip resistant footwear in when in dealership service departments
• All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned

What You Bring:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, lift (up to 50 lbs.), and be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Prior experience performing oil changes and/or automotive school or training strongly preferred
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Must be able to work well with a partner
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles strongly preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
