The Pivot Group Network is seeking a Reliability Engineer to support manufacturers in and around Wayland, Michigan. This role focuses on improving maintenance, reliability, and asset performance with emphasis on data-driven root cause analysis and preventive strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.
• Working knowledge of root cause analysis and reliability methods.
• Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance management software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams on improvement projects.
• Support spare parts planning and critical asset tracking.
• Track equipment failures and downtime data to find repeat problems.
• Lead root cause analysis on major breakdowns and chronic issues.
• Build and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance plans.
• Run reliability studies such as FMEA and failure analysis.
• Monitor key metrics like MTBF, MTTR, and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Recommend equipment upgrades and design changes to reduce failures.
